AI Academy · AI Accelerator

AI won’t take your work. Someone who knows how to use it will.

Don’t wait until AI is mandatory. Learn it while it’s still an advantage.

Former Australian Treasurer Joe Hockey told the National Press Club in May 2026 that he expects unemployment across Australia and the Western world to reach 15% by 2030 or 2031, as AI and robotics replace people at scale.

That’s his expectation, not our forecast.

You don’t have to believe the number to see the direction.

This programme is for the people who intend to be on the other side of that line — and to bring their business with them.

Free masterclass · 39 min

Watch this before you decide anything

What AI is about to do to work, what the people building it are actually saying, and what an ordinary business can do about it — with worked examples, an engineer who isn’t a programmer, and no assumed technical background.

Thrive in the Age of AI — Your Business Game Plan · 39 min

15% out of work means 85% still in it. The difference between the two groups isn’t luck.

One of the people building this technology put it to Derek plainly: the jobs will go to those who know how to use AI. The risk was never the technology. It’s being outpaced by somebody with your skills who has learnt to move faster.

The gap

Go beyond using AI. Learn to operate at AI speed.

Most people are still on the first rung — asking AI questions the way they’d ask Google, generating the odd image, tidying up an email. That’s genuinely useful. It’s also barely scratching what the technology can now do. The rung almost nobody reaches is building things, and that is exactly where the distance between one business and another is opening up.

Level one

Ask it things

Questions put the way you would put them to Google. Quick answers, quick lookups.

Level two

Make things

Emails, documents, images, posts. Genuinely useful — and where most people stop.

Level three

Build things

Tools, systems and processes that used to need a developer, a budget and a waiting list.

What you’ll be able to do

01

Accelerate the business

Find where AI can build tools that lift the customer experience, cut costs and keep people coming back for more.

02

Learn fast. Execute fast.

The gap between an idea and a working tool is now measured in days rather than quarters. Learn how to close it.

03

Save thousands in development

Work that used to need a developer, a budget and a place in the queue is increasingly within reach without any of the three.

04

Marketing that keeps up

Content, campaigns and presence maintained at a pace one person or a small team simply could not hold before.

05

Reduce the administrative load

Find the clunky processes quietly eating hours and rebuild them properly — Derek cut his own student onboarding from hours to minutes.

06

Forecast and plan

Read customer behaviour, spot the trends and plan for what you didn't expect, using information your business already holds.

07

A general manager, 24/7

Something watching the business every hour of every day — not only when you are — and reporting back at whatever hour you nominate.

08

Know which tools to use

Not every platform handles every task equally well. Learn what's current, and what produces the fastest, best result for the job in front of you.

09

A result you can point at

This isn't about collecting prompts. It's work that stands up to review, produced in a fraction of the time it used to take.

A worked example

Derek finally built the website he had wanted for twelve years but never had the expertise to commission. A client of his who works in IT looked at it and said it would have cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to develop. It cost about $120, and roughly seven to eight weeks — work Derek estimates would have taken at least two years with a developer.

What was once limited by your development budget may now be limited more by what you can imagine.

Proof

You don’t have to become a programmer.

Meet Darren Good

Engineer · Blu Sky Factory collaborator

Darren’s background is engineering — acoustic design, maintenance, a graduate diploma in mechanical engineering, and project engineering today, including work with large mining companies.

He is not a career software developer. In his own words: one Fortran subject at university in the nineties, one Pascal course at high school, and a lot of tinkering since.

What he has built with AI

  • An AI receptionist that answers calls, holds a conversation, takes details and books appointments.
  • A subscription puzzle website deployed on a US server, with automatic onboarding and billing.
  • Server-performance diagnostics measured against industry-standard reviews.
  • And, as a demonstration of the pace: a short prompt at six o'clock one evening, and about eight minutes later, a full playable version of the board game Risk.

His own summary is the part worth keeping: none of those outcomes were within his experience or skill set when it came to the actual coding. His engineering judgement was. AI supplied the rest.

Darren’s results are his own, and depend on the skills and effort he brought to them. They are not typical, promised or guaranteed.

AI doesn’t replace your expertise. It lets your expertise reach further than it could on its own.

AI isn’t magic. That’s exactly why it’s worth learning properly.

AI is extraordinarily capable. But it isn’t infallible. Here’s the part that too often gets left out of the conversation.

It can mislead you

It can be confidently, fluently wrong — which is worse than being obviously wrong. Cross-checking isn't optional.

It can frustrate your customers

Some people want a human being and will leave if they can't reach one. Where you use it matters as much as whether you use it.

Left alone, it automates the wrong thing

Unsupervised, it will happily do the wrong job perfectly, at scale, until somebody notices.

It bites in the real world, not in testing

You don't find the bugs until it meets real customers. Rolling out slowly and deliberately is a skill in its own right.

The opportunity was never in handing everything over. It’s in knowing where AI belongs, where it doesn’t, and where human judgement still has to sit. That is the whole difference between dabbling with AI and learning to operate it.

Which question is yours?

There are two ways to read what’s happening, and they lead to the same place.

If you own the business

How do I benefit from the disruption?

Where does AI change what your business can offer, what it costs to run and how fast it delivers? Are you downstream of this change — or are you the one causing it in your market?

If you’re employed

How much more can I do with what I already know?

With the experience you already have, how do you build tools for your industry and direct a workforce of AI — bringing more value to your employer than you could deliver on your own?

You keep your skills either way. They’re yours. What changes is how much you can do with them.

Two ways in. Pick the one that fits.

One builds your own capability. The other builds it across your organisation.

Frequently Asked Questions

+Do I need any technical or programming experience?

No. AI Accelerator is built for business owners, executives and professionals who have work to get done — not for programmers. You don't need to know how to code.

+Is this just a ChatGPT programme?

No. ChatGPT may be one of the tools, but the platforms change constantly. What we're after is the capability underneath: how to direct AI, design workflows, judge what comes back and find where it genuinely belongs in your work. That's what you keep when the tools change.

+Won't this be out of date in six months?

The tools will be. That's precisely why the programme is built around capability rather than which button sits where. Every six months the tools get better — and the people already using them get further ahead.

+Is this suitable for a small business?

Yes. AI Professional is built for small and medium business owners, and for professionals applying AI to their own work. Larger organisations that want the capability across a team should look at AI Executive.

+Can members of my team take part?

Yes, under AI Executive. Each participating staff member receives the full AI Professional programme in their own right, at $1,495 per person. Staff places are arranged with us after you enrol.

+Is there a payment plan?

Yes, on both. AI Professional is a $520 deposit and four monthly instalments of $300. AI Executive is a $2,395 deposit and seven monthly instalments of $800. Paying upfront costs less, and both options are shown to you at application.

+Do you provide the AI platforms themselves?

No. The AI platforms discussed are third-party tools we neither own nor control. Their capability, pricing and availability change without notice, and what anyone achieves with them depends on their own skills and effort.

+What if I'm not sure which one is right for me?

Book a call before you enrol. There's no benefit to anyone in putting you into the wrong programme.

The cost of starting doesn’t rise. The distance you have to close does.

AI is learning faster than the people deciding whether to learn it. Every six months the tools get better, and the people already using them get further ahead. Waiting until AI is essential in your industry means learning it under pressure — while somebody with your skills is already moving faster than you are.
