The New Rules of Wealth
What Changed in 2026 — and How Australians Can Prepare for 2027
Thursday 19 November 2026 · 7:00pm – 9:00pm AWST
The rules governing money, work and wealth are changing.
Interest rates and living costs continue to place pressure on Australian households. Artificial intelligence is transforming the skills people need to remain valuable at work and competitive in business. Meanwhile, decisions in the United States and Australia are bringing digital assets and new financial infrastructure further into the regulated economy.
By 19 November, we will be on the other side of several major turning points: the decision surrounding America's CLARITY Act, the November interest-rate decision and updated economic outlook from the Reserve Bank of Australia, the US midterm elections and their implications for markets, regulation and economic policy, and the latest Australian wages, employment and cost-of-living data.
The question will no longer be simply, “What might happen?” It will be: what has changed — and what could it mean?
Join us for a timely and thought-provoking evening examining the forces likely to shape 2027 and beyond.
This is not another prediction night. Nobody can know with certainty what markets, governments or technologies will do next. The purpose of this event is to help you understand the changes already taking place, recognise the risks and opportunities they may create, and make more informed decisions about the areas you may need to investigate further.
“A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.” — Proverbs 22:3
Preparation has never required prediction. It requires paying attention, and moving while there is still time to move. Because when the rules change, relying entirely on the old playbook may no longer be enough.
You do not need an extensive background in economics, investing, technology or digital assets. The evening is designed to make complex changes understandable and relevant to everyday Australians.
Doors open at 6:45pm for a 7:00pm start, there is free parking on site, and the room holds 70. Current students and members attend free — select the student tier at checkout, and bring a guest.
